Reprodukcja ludności Polski w latach 1950—2007

Abstract

Population reproduction, connected with the natural movement (births and deaths), decides in the long period on the survival or the death of the society. Indirectly, the reproduction level shows a society potential, its vitality and perspectives. Basic data on the population reproduction level in Poland in years 1950—2007 are presented in the article. In this period a decrease in the reproduction was generally observed up to very low size. The death reduction compensated considerably the decrease of the deciding factor of changes — the fertility.
