Nastoletnie macierzyństwo we współczesnej Polsce

Abstract

Po dwóch dekadach szybkiego obniżania się skłonności nastolatek do posiadania potomstwa ostatnie lata są okresem wzrostu w Polsce liczby urodzeń wydawanych na świat przez matki mające mniej niż 20 lat. W artykule przedstawiono demograficzne tło tego procesu, jego przestrzenne zróżnicowanie oraz skupiono się na trzech grupach szczególnego zagrożenia – matkach bardzo młodych (tj. w wieku 16 lat i mniej), matkach mających więcej niż jedno dziecko, matkach nie mających kontaktu z ojcem potomstwa.

After two decades when teenager fertility was rapidly diminishing in Poland the last few years are period of opposite changes. In the article attention was paid to the demographic background of the changes observed in the last decades and its spatial diversity. Because the most important subpopulation from the point of view of social policy “old hands” are extremely young mothers (i.e. aged 16 and less), mothers with at least two children, and mothers with no partner support accessible data on the three groups were presented.
