dc.description.abstractW monografii zaprezentowano miejsce i znaczenie sportu w dyplomacji publicznej, co wiąże się z kategorią dyplomacji sportowej. Przedmiot badania w szczególności obejmował kwestie wykorzystywania sportu do poprawy stosunków międzynarodowych, ukazanie jego roli w kształtowaniu międzynarodowego wizerunku państw oraz omówienie podmiotowości dyplomatycznej międzynarodowych organizacji zarządzających sportem na przykładzie Międzynarodowego Komitetu Olimpijskiego. Istotnym elementem analiz było rozpatrzenie, z jakimi podmiotami może być łączone prowadzenie dyplomacji sportowej. Badania umożliwiły m.in. wyodrębnienie modeli dyplomacji sportowej ukierunkowanej na budowanie bliskości między krajami, przypisanie stosowania różnych metod wizerunkowej dyplomacji sportowej do różnych rodzajów państw oraz zaproponowanie modelu tłumaczącego dyplomatyczną podmiotowość organizacji sportowych.pl_PL
