Rozwój polskiego rynku funduszy venture capital oraz private equity w okresie 1998–2014

Abstract

Fundusze venture capital oraz private equity w okresie 1990–2014 stały się ważną klasą aktywów finansowych oraz istotnym segmentem globalnego rynku finansowego. Rynek funduszy venture capital oraz private equity zaczął również funkcjonować w Polsce wraz z liberalizacją rynku po 1989 roku. Pierwsze inwestycje dokonywane w Polsce opierały się na kapitałach publicznych, jednak w okresie 1990–2014 na rynku polskim pojawiło się wiele funduszy komercyjnych. Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka oraz analiza polskiego rynku funduszy w zakresie zmieniających się trendów pozyskiwania kapitałów, inwestycji kapitałów oraz sposobów zakończenia inwestycji w latach 1998–2014.

Venture capital and private equity funds in the period 1990 to 2014 have become an important class of financial asset and an important segment of the global financial market. Market for venture capital and private equity funds has also started to operate in Poland, together with the liberalization of the market after 1989. The first investments made in Poland were based on public capital, but in the period of 1990–2014 on the Polish market, a number of commercial funds. This article aims to analyze the characteristics and Polish funds market in terms of the changing trends of acquiring capital, investments and divestments in the years 1998–2014.
