Nauczanie terminologii polsko-słowackiej i polsko-czeskiej

Abstract

The following article consists of two parts. The first includes information about the individual departments of the Polish studies which have translation and interpretation study programmes. The text presents textbooks and dictionaries which are used by the students in these programmes. It also discusses oral and written translation, especially the important features of a numer translation techniques. The second part of the article deals with terminology. It speaks about the vocabulary and various problems arising while translating or interpreting, about the difficulties with close Polish and Slovak lexis. It brings the topic of false friends in a specialized text and provides an analysis of selected specialized terms. The terms are chosen from the documents of the European Union and from the legal terminology.

Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. Pierwsza zawiera informację o poszczególnych ośrodkach polonistycznych ze specjalizacją translatologiczną. Są tutaj przytoczone podręczniki i słowniki, z którymi pracują studenci translatologii. Znajduje się tutaj informacja o tłumaczeniu ustnym i pisemnym, a także informacja o tym, co jest ważne w poszczególnych technikach tłumaczenia. Druga część ma charakter praktyczny. Omawiane są tu problemy i pułapki, które mogą pojawić się w tłumaczeniu, oraz podobieństwa leksyki języków słowiańskich. Analizowane są „wyrazy zdradliwe/fałszywi przyjaciele/pułapki” w tekstach specjalistycznych. Do ilustracji służą wybrane terminy specjalistyczne z tekstów dokumentów unijnych oraz z terminologii prawniczej.
