| dc.description.abstract | This paper shows results of the questionnaire survey carried out among the inhabitants of
Bielsk Podlaski concerning the localisation of preferable dwelling places. Its aim was to
determine the factors that influence peoples’ feelings regarding their habitation. The paper
describes housing conditions in Bielsk Podlaski in comparison with other towns in the former
Białystok Voivodship and in Poland, sociodemographic and economic structure of the sample
and the method of preference evaluation. It has been shown how the importance of différent
elements of habitation environment varies with sociodemographic and economic characteristics
of the inhabitants of this medium-size town in eastern Poland. | pl_PL |
