<title>Humanistyczne aspekty architektury informacji. Rekonesans</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/44793</link>
<description>Humanistyczne aspekty architektury informacji. Rekonesans
Utracka, Dorota
The article presents the essence of information architecture as a process of nomenclature&#13;
organization, navigation design and the search systems useful in information management.&#13;
The key issue is to show in what way art and science of information environments&#13;
management are becoming the tool for humanizing technology and the instrument of&#13;
social development, as well as the way information architecture is becoming an inseparable&#13;
part of humanistic, meta-scientific and practical aspects of the 21st century informatology.&#13;
The authoress discusses various aspects of culture in Web 2.0 model, the main attributes&#13;
of text architecture and also its inter-media communication functionality, scrutinizing the&#13;
relation between culture of the surplus and the Internet axiology, the assumptions of&#13;
economics and knowledge ecology as well as information engineering.

<title>Participatory Audiovisual Translation in the Age of Immediacy</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/44791</link>
<description>Participatory Audiovisual Translation in the Age of Immediacy
Łabendowicz, Olga
In the age of participatory culture and post-translation, the liberalization of the domain of&#13;
audiovisual translation (AVT) was only a matter of time. The key four factors which have&#13;
contributed to this demotic turn include: Linguistic Competence, Availability, Immediacy,&#13;
and Free-of-Chargeness. Amateur and fan-produced translations increasingly gain in&#13;
popularity. Meanwhile, the expectations of the industry towards professional translators&#13;
has become more challenging than ever. The aim of the presented paper is to explore&#13;
whether these changes call for a more market-driven approach towards AVT in the age of&#13;
the opening of the industry for other agents.
