Paralelizm estetyczno-etyczny a konwencja gatunkowa fantasy
Smułka, Aleksandra
This paper constitutes a summary of studies in the field of axiological linguistics. Its
main aim is to present a relationship between the moral judgement and the aesthetic
evaluation of characters in the Polish fantasy literature and to elaborate on some of their
their characteristics. The study shows that most of the analysed characters were created
on the basis of an aesthetic and ethical parallelism, which means that the righteousbeautiful
or the evil-hideous types are realized. Yet the parallelism is by no means overt
in the literature. A tremendous role in modification of the character’s profile is played by such attributes as the character’s eyes and voice. Descriptions of the character’s body
frame and scars, recurring features in the character’s profile, and means of indirect
valuation (mostly colour) are axiologically analysed. Also, the most pronounced trends
in the use of primarily evaluative means are pointed out.

The problem of introduction and use of feminine names is still current and arouses many
controversies. One can find a lot of information concerning reasonableness of the use of
feminine names and their social reception though there are only a few papers referring
to their grammar and word-formation. Thus it is right to complete the discussion on
the use of feminine names by a solid word-formation analysis, which also aims to show
productive and non-productive word-formation types and the difficulties one can
encounter while creating feminine names.
The research used in this paper consists of 265 feminine names found in an annual 2014
of daily newspapers (‘Dziennik Łódzki’, ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’) and feminine magazines
(‘Wysokie Obcasy’, ‘Zwierciadło’), used with reference to females.

Strategie językowe w interakcji handlowej na Twitterze

The aim of the analysis was to investigate linguistic strategies used in business interaction
between clients and firms on selected business profiles on Twitter. The analysis aimed
at establishing which strategies are used in the interaction. The analysis referred to
the classification of strategies suggested by Zgółkowa and Pałka based on von Thun’s four-sides model of communication. Strategies used on four levels of the message were
analysed, i.e. on the factual level, relationship level, self-revelation level and appeal
level. The analysis indicated that strategies transposed from other media are used in the
interaction. An undeniable asset of this medium is, however, the possibility to combine
a range of forms of interaction and strategies.

The article presents the changes made in the protocols of guild of the eighteenth century,
their intensity, function and meaning for the document of an official nature. The
transformations of the quantity and types of corrections lead to the conclusion that until
the mid eighteenth century protocols were rewritten from another, previously drafted
text. Later, however, they began to be rewritten during the session. The first method is
likely to be back by the last of the guild writers. The change in the protocol creation can
be associated with the changing position of a notary in the community and with the
authority of the guild seniors and the importance of the official document.
