<title>Glony aerofityczne w rezerwacie „Mokry Bór”</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/15875</link>
<description>Glony aerofityczne w rezerwacie „Mokry Bór”
Czerwik, Joanna; Mrozińska, Teresa
The results of investigation on aerophytic algae grown on different tree&#13;
species in the area of the „Mokry Bor” reserve carried in February 1995. Among the found&#13;
green algae Apatococcus lobatus played important role. It occurred on the surface of nearly&#13;
all examined trees creating dark green coatings on the tree barks (excluding Carpinus be lulus).&#13;
On Abies and Picea apart from Apatococcus also other synantropic green alga occurred&#13;
Gloeotila protogenita. They were accompanied by the following species: Chlorella vulgaris, Ch.&#13;
ellipsoidea, Klebsormidium flaccidum, Stichococcus bacillaris, Pseudococcomyxa simplex and&#13;
Heterothrix exilis, representing probably previous natural communities.&#13;
Obtained ultrastructures of cells of Apatococcus showed inside some specimens presence&#13;
of fungus haustorium, which however did not affect cellular structures of this algae. This&#13;
form of symbiosis has not been observed so far in the case of this green alga. Characteristic&#13;
ultrastructure observed in the green alga Gloeotila (in particular the thick layer of mucus&#13;
surrounding the vegetative cells) proves presence on this area of a typical land form&#13;
containing pyrenoid of a specific structure. Its land character is also proven by the reproduction&#13;
ways.; W tej pracy przedstawione zostały wyniki badań dotyczące glonów aerofitycznych,&#13;
występujących na różnych drzewach na terenie rezerwatu ścisłego „Mokry Bór” (Świętokrzyski&#13;
Park Narodowy). Materiał został zebrany w lutym 1995 r. Stwierdzono na prawie wszystkich&#13;
badanych drzewach (z wyjątkiem Carpinus betulus) obecność Apatococcus lobatus.

<title>Analiza jakościowa flory desmidii na torfowisku Lubiec w latach 1984-1995</title>

<description>Analiza jakościowa flory desmidii na torfowisku Lubiec w latach 1984-1995
Lesiak, Teresa
In 1984-1995 the desmid flora was analysed in the Lubiec peat-bog. Of&#13;
206 taxa recorded as many as 43.2% were accessory and accidental species, which testifies to&#13;
a high variability of this desmid community. The Thumark Q green algae factor was applied&#13;
for defining the peat-bog’s trophic status, which decidedly determines the species composition&#13;
and abundance of desmids.

<title>Okrzemki rzeki Dobrzynki w Pabianicach (Polska Środkowa)</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/15869</link>
<description>Okrzemki rzeki Dobrzynki w Pabianicach (Polska Środkowa)
Rakowska, Barbara
The Dobrzynka River is a left tributary of the 21.5 km long Ner River.&#13;
Benthos samples were collected at the town of Pabianice, where the river is affected by&#13;
communal-industrial sewage inflowing from a sanatorium at the village of Tuszynek, from&#13;
the southern part of Pabianice and the „Pamotex” Cotton Mill. On the basis of 15 samples&#13;
97 diatom taxa were identified (Tab. I). Table II presents 5 dominant taxa (above 5%) and&#13;
9 subdominant taxa (2-5%). 18 constant species (81-100% of samples) were distinguished.&#13;
Saprobity was determined for 84 species (Hofmann 1994, Lange-Bertalot 1994). On&#13;
the basis of sapro-biological analysis the Dobrzynka River water at Pabianice may be&#13;
characterized as α-β-mesosaprobic, which attributes the water to Water Purity Class II&#13;
(Turoboyski 1979).
