FRBR jako model danych bibliograficznych dla bibliotekarza i użytkownika końcowego Paleczna, Dominika The aim of the article was to show advantages and disadvantages of FRBR, furthermore to consider if it is useful for end users. Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records (FRBR) was described. Two ways of implementing FRBR in a library catalog were presented – in Virtua ILS and Primo discovery system. Bibliographic records’ presentation for end users in Virtua and Primo was analyzed. Necessity of implementing FRBR was recognized, especially for end users convenience.

Dodatkowe źródła dochodów bibliotekarzy w Polsce Milewska, Paulina Librarians are a poorly paid occupational group in Poland. Even though most librarians have higher education, their chances for satisfying wages are very small. Under such circumstances librarians are forced to look for additional income sources. This article presents the results of a survey on additional income sources of librarians. The survey was conducted in the end of 2011. The results' analysis is preceded by a short description of the situation on the Polish labor market.
