This review article offers an in-depth analysis and discussion of Hanna Dymel-
Trzebiatowska’s (2024) Przechadzki po Dolinie Muminków. Perspektywa filozofic-
zno-literacka [Strolls through Moominvalley: A Philosophical–Literary Perspec-
tive], one of the most significant recent contributions to international Moomin
studies. The author highlights the interdisciplinary and analytically sophisticated
character of the monograph, which combines literary, philosophical, psychologi-
cal, sociological, gender-oriented, and ecocritical approaches. Dymel-Trzebiatows-
ka reveals the multifaceted nature of Tove Jansson’s fictional universe, addressing
iconotextual relations, artistic evolution, symbolic representations, and complex
portrayals of characters and motifs. The reviewed book also offers pioneering in-
sights into ageism, ecological catastrophe, and the contemporary political potential
of Moomin narratives. This article argues that Dymel-Trzebiatowska’s study signif-
icantly advances global scholarship on Jansson by demonstrating the philosoph

This article analyzes the scientific journal Zagadnienia Rodzajów Literackich /
The Problems of Literary Genres (ISSN 0084-4446, e-ISSN 2451-0335) with respect to the
transformation of its publishing model from a traditional framework to an open access
paradigm. The necessity of adapting to the evolving publishing landscape in Poland and
globally, coupled with the advancements in open science, compels journal publishers and
editors to implement measures aimed at enhancing the visibility of published content, ensuring
data security, and adhering to international standards, including metadata enrichment.
Over the past several years, driven by the initiative of the editorial board and with the
approval of the publisher, a series of modifications have been implemented in Zagadnienia
Rodzajów Literackich / The Problems of Literary Genres – encompassing the migration of
the journal’s website to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, the provision of archival
issues within an institutional repository, the adoption of open licenses, and the standardization
of metadata. The analysis presented herein elucidates the developmental trajectory
of the journal, with a particular focus on the collaborative efforts among the editors,
the Łódź Scientific Society (primary publisher), the University of Lodz Publishing House
(co-publisher), and the University of Lodz Library (repository administrator). The case of
Zagadnienia Rodzajów Literackich / The Problems of Literary Genres demonstrates the capacity
of a humanities journal, sustained for 65 years, to fulfill the exigencies of contemporary
scientific periodicals within the context of open science and digital transformation.

Autorka zestawia powieść "Stan splątania" Roksany Jędrzejewskiej-Wróbel i cykl "Rodzina Monet" Weroniki Anny Marczak, analizując ich konstrukcję w kontekście elementów dydaktycznych i przyjemności lektury, a także rozważa wieloadresatywność tych utworów.; The article explores the evolution of young adult literature and the evolution of
the genre in the context of popular culture and its reception in different audiences.
The social context of the reading process and the development of digital platforms
(Wattpad, BookTok, Bookstagram) have influenced the shape of the modern publishing
landscape. The author compares the novel "Stan splątania" [“State of Confusion/
Entanglement”] by Roksana Jędrzejewska-Wróbel and the series "The Monet Family" by
Weronika Anna Marczak, analyzing their construction in terms of didactic elements
and pleasure of reading, and also considers the reception of these works by different
groups of readers.

W eseju podjęto próbę interpretacji motywu „odejścia” w wierszu nauka chodzenia Tadeusza Różewicza w świetle myśli Dietricha Bonhoeffera i Hannah Arendt. Autor podejmuje refleksję nad znaczeniem słowa „odszedł” w kontekście ludzkiej kondycji w świecie, w którym transcendencja przestała być oczywista. Kluczowe słowo „odszedł” staje się tu punktem wyjścia do rozważań o odpowiedzialności, samotności i dorosłości człowieka, który w obliczu postnietzscheańskiej „śmierci Boga” musi samodzielnie odnaleźć swoją drogę. Choć Różewicz nie odwołuje się do Arendt wprost, w jego refleksji nad „światem dorosłym” Bonhoeffera pobrzmiewają pojęcia obecne w jej filozofii, co umożliwia powiązanie poetyckiej medytacji z pytaniami teologicznymi i antropologicznymi. Istotnym kontekstem interpretacyjnym staje się również kategoria „naśladowania”. Z przeprowadzonych rozważań wynika, że nauka chodzenia może być odczytana jako „nauka bezbożnej i bezreligijnej liturgii”.; The Irreligious and Unbeautiful Liturgy of Learning to Leave by Tadeusz Różewicz Abstract The essay offers an interpretation of the motif of “departure” in Tadeusz Różewicz’s poem Learn- ing to Walk in light of the thought of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Hannah Arendt. The author reflects on the meaning of the word “departed” within the context of the human condition in a world where transcendence is no longer self-evident. This keyword serves as a starting point for consid- erations of responsibility, solitude, and adulthood in a post-Nietzschean world, where one must find one’s path after the “death of God.” Although Różewicz does not explicitly refer to Arendt, his reflection on Bonhoeffer’s “adult world” resonates with Arendt’s concepts, allowing poetic meditation to merge with theological and philosophical inquiry. The notion of “following” also becomes an important context for the analysis. The essay concludes that “learning to walk is learning a godless and nonreligious liturgy.” Keywords Tadeusz Różewicz, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, non-religious Christianity, non-religious liturgy, walking, departing.
