Zespół Lamio-Veronicetum politae Kornaś 1950 na Wyżynie Częstochowskiej Wnuk, Zygmunt The article presents characteristics of the Lamio-Vevonicetum politae association on the area of the Czestochowa Upland and prospects for its survival here. Table II gives an insight into composition of the association according to species in its typical form, while Tab. III contains a list of species in their form: with Veronica agrestis, with Fumaria officinalis, and transitional forms (corresponding numbers of records 1-8, 9-14, 15-21). The strongest influence on the species composition of the association is exerted by: soil (percentage share of CaCO₃ in it), various agritechnical operations, size of cultivated fields, and intensive chemicalization of agriculture.

Część I Lesiak, Teresa The article presents findings of the further studies on algae from the Mesotaeniaceae family and the Desmidiales order. It contains important information on the area of studies, which is affected negatively by the Bełchatów Industrial Region; on methods of work and taxanomic changes within the framework of investigated algae groups. The performed quantitative analysis of algae from the Mesotaeniaceae family and the Demidiales order revealed that the investigated algae are not very numerous and occur individually.
