There can be observed mutual relationships between work competition and professional activity. And accordingly, professional activity is revealed in the work competition process while
the aim of the economic function of work competition is stimulation and development of professional activity of employees. Consequently, competition cannot be treated as one of
the forms in which professional activity is revealed as it is
sometimes the case in the literature of the subject.
The society may exertanin fluence on the level of professional activity and effectiveness of work competition by means
of stimulating methods, which representa component of management
systems of socioeconomic processes.
