| dc.description.abstract | The article contains some remarks on technical progress as a
factor producing transformations in structure of the economy. It
should be underlined, first of all, that technical progress is
a basic factor of structural changes. Its role in the process of
structural transformations ensues from its very naturę being cha—
racterized by dynamism and irregularity. These properties determine
the fact that it is a motor of structural changes in the economy.
The author underlines also the main elements of the economic process,
in which effects of structural transformations produced by
