dc.description.abstract	This article presents the characteristics of entertainment system, which was built with the release of Stephenie Meyer’s "Twilight" series. It shows the transformation of the literary theme of vampire and identifies the specific impact of Meyer’s novel on the creation of similar characters in popular literature. Polish edition of the novel and other available on the Polish market products associated with "Twilight" were discussed in detail. Entertainment system components presented in the article are a response to the question, what made the Meyer’s series such a huge success.	pl_PL
