Współzależności systemowe w regionie - wybrane problemy

Abstract

The article contains a presentation of systemic interrelationships in a region. The point of departure was a presentation of the main systemic terminology and next the regional terminology. An attempt was made in the article to assess possibilities of using the systemic analysis in regional studies. Namely, it appears - which is confirmed by economic practice, that many phenomena, which cannot be explained without allowances made for their systemic character, can be observed in the process of the economy operation and development in the dimension of spatial units. Analysing selected properties and systems and assessing their presence in particular structural units of the national economy it can be stated without doubt that a region is a specific social-economic system being an element of a bigger whole.
