Streszczenie
The article deals with both theoretical and practical aspects
of social services in Czechoslovakia. It presents the present views
In tne field of social services contained in the Czechoslovak literature,
and especially on the concept, scope and factors determining
the sizfe of these services. There are also discussed certain
trends in growth rate of social services in this country. Their
analysis is based on statistical data concerning the present situation
in this field compared with data for the past 25 years.
The final part of the article gives an Insight into assurptlons
of the socio-welfare policy In Czechoslovakia for the coming
years, with the main ephasis laid on sources, forms and effectivenee
of economic management in the non-materiaI sphere.
