Abstract

Growing importance of supply chain management (SCM) can be seen in creating and using newer potentials and methods of enriching value for customers and businesses along the whole supply network. SCM seems to be the most innovative starting point for further development of coordination and optimization of business processes. The paper attempts to identify the goals and potentials of effects along with development of supply chain management concept towards supply “circle” management. It also attempts to evaluate real benefits connected with SCM implementation in western countries.
