Helena Karwacka i łódzkie tematy

Abstract

The aim of the article was to select and discuss research works dedicated to the literary culture of the city of Łódź, authored by literary scholar Helena Karwacka (1930–2017), who was professionally affiliated with the University of Łódź for 25 years. The selection of works was based on the pioneering nature of the topics, methodological innovation, and their significance in the context of twentieth-century studies on the literature of Łódź.

Celem artykułu jest wybranie i omówienie prac badawczych poświęconych kulturze literackiej miasta Łodzi, których autorką była literaturoznawczyni Helena Karwacka (1930–2017), związana zawodowo z Uniwersytetem Łódzkim przez 25 lat. O wyborze prac decydowały: pionierskość tematu, nowatorstwo metodologiczne oraz ich znaczenie w kontekście dwudziestowiecznych badań nad literaturą Łodzi.
