Konrad T. Tadajczyk reviews carefully Dorotheos’ hymn To Abraham (edited in 1994 by Enrico Livrea and in 1999 by A. Hurst and J. Rudhardt). After identifying the ancient poet in question with Dorotheos of Antiochia (chapt. II), he suggests a new restitution of the preserved text (chapt. Ill), presents a Polish translation (chapt. IV) and an ample critical commentary (chapt. V). He also compares Dorotheos’ poem with the biblical version (chapt. VI), stressing two different features: (1) a free transposition of the original text, (2) a high activity of both Sara and Isaac.pl_PL
