The dissertation "Public Archaeology in Contemporary Poland in a Comparative Perspective" explores public archaeology, a sub-discipline focused on popularizing archaeological knowledge, with particular focus on Poland and comparisons with the United States and South Korea. It delves into its origins, definitions, and different forms such as community archaeology, "public sector" archaeology, archaeological education, popular archaeology, and academic public archaeology. The paper highlights prominent archaeological sites in Poland like the Biskupin Archaeological Museum and the Krzemionki Archaeological Museum, discussing their history, research, and role in promoting archaeology.
