Despite a very dynamic development of economy-class hotels, luxury hotels, usually associated with such individuals as Cesar Ritz or Conrad Hilton, are still maintaining a strong position in hotel industry. Large hotel systems usually establish only a few hotel chains aiming at the widest range of offered services, delivered at the highest standards. As an example, one can quote: Concorde (Louvre Hotels), Crowne Plaza (InterContinental), Sofitel (Accor), Residence Inn (Marriott) and many others. Officially, Claridge’s Hotel in London is a five-star hotel. Unofficially, due to its reputation, unique style and high level of services, it exceeds five-star standards by far. Hotel’s rich history, related to England’s and London’s social and political events throughout the ages, as well as Claridge’s links to the British Royal Family – it all strengthens the hotel’s robust position among the luxury hotels’ market segment. Guests visiting Claridge’s are given special care and attention, which gives them a unique ‘at home’ feeling, which is much stronger in comparison with London’s other luxury hotels. Opinions on Claridge’s indicate that regardless guests’ social status, whether they are celebrities or just wealthy holidaymakers, they are all treated in the same way, which is ‘utmost respect and royal manners’ (according to Claridge’s work ethic). Up to this day, Claridge’s guests can share the same, unique experience and the hotel is visited by numerous celebrities, members of royalty and dignitaries from all over the world.pl_PL
