L’art de vivre, de survivre, de revivre. Approches littéraires. 50e anniversaire des études romanes à l’Université de Łódź

Abstract

Przygotowana z okazji jubileuszu studiów romanistycznych w Uniwersytecie Łódzkim publikacja stanowi wielogłosową refleksję na temat sztuki życia/przeżycia, odżycia (odrodzenia). Tak sformułowany temat eksponuje problematykę przełomu, przewartościowania dotychczasowego modus vivendi, ale także kwestię relacji z czasem, motyw przemijania, powrotów, wreszcie trwania. Na gruncie studiów literackich temat ten został uchwycony z punktu widzenia sztuki życia rozumianej jako zespół intelektualnych, emocjonalnych, duchowych i moralnych postaw jednostki wobec istnienia w określonych wspólnotach i w konkretnych warunkach historycznych i społeczno-politycznych.

O naukowym charakterze publikacji decyduje dobór i układ treści, analizujących opisaną problematykę w oparciu o szeroki korpus tekstów z różnych epok i krajów romańskiego obszaru językowego, przy zastosowaniu wielu metodologii i wykorzystaniu obszernej, starannie dobranej bibliografii.

Publikacja skierowana jest do szerokiego grona odbiorców: studentów, literaturoznawców, miłośników literatury władających językami romańskimi, co stwarza możliwość wywarcia znaczącego wpływu społecznego.

The publication, created to celebrate the jubilee of Romance studies at the University of Lodz, is a polyphonic reflection on the art of living / surviving, reviving. The chosen topic deals with the issues of a breakthrough, a reevaluation of the current "modus vivendi". It also discusses the issue of relations with time, the themes of passing away, returning, and duration. From the perspective of literary studies, this topic was captured as the art of life understood as a set of intellectual, emotional, spiritual and moral attitudes of an individual towards existence in specific communities and in specific historical and socio-political conditions.

The scientific character of the publication is ensured by an organized choice of content aimed at analyzing the aforementioned points, based on a wide corpus of texts from various eras and countries, and the use of multiple methodologies supported by a carefully selected bibliography.

Since the monograph addresses the needs of a wide range of readers (students, literary scholars, literature lovers who speak Romance languages), it has the potential to exert considerable social influence.

Destinée à célébrer le 50e anniversaire des études romanes à l'Université de Lodz, la publication est une réflexion polyphonique sur l'art de vivre, de survivre et de revivre. Le sujet proposé permet d’examiner les problématiques de rupture et de réévaluation du "modus vivendi" actuel, mais aussi la question du rapport au temps, les motifs de la disparition, du retour et de la permanence. Inscrit dans le champ des études littéraires, ce sujet a été traité du point de vue de l'art de vivre compris comme un ensemble d'attitudes intellectuelles, émotionnelles, spirituelles et morales de l’individu vivant dans des communautés et dans des contextes historiques et sociopolitiques spécifiques.

La qualité scientifique de la publication est assurée par la sélection et la disposition des contributions qui se proposent d’analyser la problématique à partir d'un large corpus de textes issus de différentes époques et pays, au travers de nombreuses méthodologies étayées par une riche bibliographie soigneusement choisie.
