Efektywność pracowników w perspektywie ekonomicznej i psychologicznej
Streszczenie
The purpose of the article is to present the variety of approaches aiming at defining the notion of efficiency on the perspective of different scientific disciplines: economy together with management studies and management psychology. Furthermore, the article constitutes an attempt to integrate these disciplines in the field of performance management. The economic approach concentrates mainly on final effects as well as on objectification of working conditions with a particular concern on presenting results in a numeric form. The psychological approach represents a clear quality focus and subjectivization — the main concern is the employee’s perception of corporate reality and dynamic approach consisting in analyzing interactions within a company. The issue of performance management was tackled in this article with the above-mentioned analyses in mind. As a result, the article represents the holistic idea affecting all aspects of management which, in the author’s opinion, responds to an increased demand for monitoring and measuring the effects of work.
