The purpose of the research was to explore if there are differences in visual and spatial functions in a group of drivers with regard to the male/female sex. It has been assumed that the sex as well as ability of driving a car, are in connection with efficiency of visual and spatial functions. In the research, using the IPP test, it has been taken into consideration differences between participants with regard to the biological as well as psychological gender. There were 60 people who participated in the research: age between 20 and 45. The participants were people who possessed a driving license and people who are unable to drive a car. Visual and spatial functions were tested by the test of Spatial Imagination, the R-W Test and the Poppelreuter’s Test. The reqults indicate that men are more efficient than women as regards visual and spatial functions. However, the relation between ability of driving a car and efficiency of visual and spatial function has not been confirmed.pl_PL
