Abstract

In the consideration on the area of bibliological research, the interesting may be the answer when the theorists, and in what extent, noticed the problematic of the art of book. In Życie książki Jan Muszkowski signalized its significance, but this task was out of his main consideration. However, he was aware of its importance, what suggest articles published in 20. and 30. Of XX century in: ,,Grafika Polska’’, ,,Grafika”, ,,Rzeczy piękne”, ,,Ilustracja” and ,,Przegląd Księgarski”.
