dc.description.abstract	Angesichts der steigenden Zahl an Menschen, die im Internet nach einem Partner bzw. einer Partnerin suchen, wächst auch in der Sprachwissenschaft das Interesse am Verhalten der Userinnen und User auf Dating-Portalen. Im vorliegenden Artikel wird der Versuch unternommen, die Aufnahme zwischenmenschlicher Kontakte in diesem Kontext zu analysieren, wobei ein besonderes Augenmerk den Komplimenten in Erstkontaktversuchen auf dem in Polen sehr bekannten Portal sympatia.onet.pl gilt. Einhundert von Polen an eine Userin geschickte Erstnachrichten werden einer Analyse unterzogen, in denen Komplimente zu finden sind, wodurch ihre Charakteristik u. a. in Bezug auf die Fokustypen von HERBERT (1990) entstehen kann. Besprochen werden ferner ihre morphosyntaktische Struktur sowie lexikalische Einheiten und Komplimentobjekte.	pl_PL
dc.description.abstract	Alongside the increasing number of people looking for their life partners on the Internet, there is also a significant growth of interest among linguists regarding the behavior of dating website users. The main aim of this article is to analyze the ways that people make contact in this specific context. The key issue addressed by the author in her arti-cle, is to study the use of compliments in first contact messages sent by users of a well-known Polish dating website sympatia.onet.pl. The analysis has covered 17% of 100 messages from Polish male users to female users of the website, i.e. such messages that contained compliments. The characteristics of morphological, syntactic, lexical structure (especially the focus (HERBERT 1990) in the compliments) and the objects of compliments, is the subject of the analysis, based on examples found in this study.	en_GB
dc.description.abstract	Wraz ze zwiększającą się liczbą osób poszukujących swojego życiowego partnera w internecie, rośnie również zainteresowanie językoznawców zachowaniami użytkowników portali randkowych. Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę analizy sposobu nawiązywania kontaktów międzyludzkich w tym kontekście ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem komplementów w tekstach inicjujących kontakty na znanym w Polsce portalu sympatia.onet.pl. Spośród 100 wiadomości przesłanych przez Polaków do użytkowniczki tegoż portalu analizie poddano te, w których pojawiły się komplementy, dzięki czemu możliwa była ich charakterystyka, m.in. pod kątem tzw. focus w odniesieniu do HERBERTA (1990). Poza tym omówiona została struktura morfologiczno-składniowa komplementów, środki leksykalne oraz komplementowane obiekty.	pl_PL
