dc.description.abstractThe article discussed books problems in social-cultural paper ‘‘Tęcza ,, published between 1927–1939 in Poznan´ by The St. Wojciech Bookshop and Printer. The author presents main form of book promotion in ‘‘Tęcza ,, . The book was distributed by means of book advertising, new publishing review, book criticisms, premiums and prizes. There are a lot of examples of Polish and foreign titles. Editorial staff of the paper chose rather religious and social books. There are a lot of novels, stories, diaries, biographies, albums and travel books. ‘‘Tęcza ,, wanted a good book and conscious reader.pl_PL
