Abstract

"Social monitoring” in Kijów investigated in 1996 managers of enterprises representing different types of property. They were interviewed as experts and asked to estimate economic development of Ukraine and its perspectives. According to the majority of managers, economic development of Ukraine was not satisfactory in 1995. Although these managers who accept radical reforms are more optimistic than those who are against reforms. Overcoming the economic crisis is associated with changes in taxation system, stable system of law regulating activity of enterprises. Hopes of managers are connected with the activity of president who proposes tough economic policy, full control of law. At the same time the managers do not trust parliament which acts in authoritarian way.
