Przedmałżeńskie perspektywy sukcesu rodzinnego młodzieży miejskiej
Streszczenie
The paper presents results of research on patterns and models
of behaviour of young couples in antenuptial period. The research
conducted in 1983 covers 154 young couples living in Łódź. The paper
aims at determining factors which influence successful marriage life of young, urban couples. Ihe following ones have been taken into account: level of maturity of partners, homagamy of matching, course
of the antenuptial period, social and material conditions (families
of origin) of start to marriage life, marriage and family models of
the generation of the 80-ties and the level of mutual recognition
and adjustment of partners before marriage.
The obtained results show that difficult material conditions and
the low level of mutual recognition and adjustment before marriage
are the main sources of failure in the future marriage life. On the
other than, autonomy and homogamy of choice of partners seem to be
the prerequisites of success in marriage. An analysis of the marriage
life of the couples in question has been undertaken recently, and
it is hoped that it will check the relevancy rif the propounded
theses and conclusions.
