Duchowość w zarządzaniu – wybrane zagadnienia
Sokołowska, Julita
The purpose of the article titled „Spirituality in Management” is to outline the area for a more thorough monograph on the problem
of the functioning of the spirituality in the organization. The main research question is focused on the use of the elements of spirituality
in the management system and how it will improve the efficiency of human labor in organization. In the article are also provided
a conceptual framework issues, some lines of analysis of the problem, which can be used in future studies indicating the major benefits
associated with the use of spiritual substance in the management and main threats in this area.
The nature of research adopted in the article is presented in a form of exploration, which does not have the obligation to adjudge finally
all the issues. The form of exploration seems to be in this particular case the appropriate due to the hard-to-describe and irrational nature
of selected thematic area (spirituality) and his reference to the sphere, which has not yet been analyzed very often (organization).
In the traditional business analyze, derived from economic and management theory of organizational behavior, attention is paid
to the concept of prosperity, as the purpose of organizational human functioning. Interpretations of the concept of welfare proposed
in the scientific literature, in many cases, are focused mainly on material prosperity. For this reason, care and activity in terms of spiritual
well-being are difficult to observe in the lives of professional individuals. However, the negative effects of the elimination of the spiritual
element can significantly affect the efficiency of its operation in both spheres – in professional and in private life.
In the words of M. Dziewiecki „The more a person is spiritually poor, much less know how to use the material prosperity”. Man does
not take account of the spiritual factor in their functioning in the organization and then the organization exposes itself to lower effects
by using of resources, and consequently limit the development – waste is the lack of synergy, added value achievable with appropriate use
of resources. Material prosperity without spiritual element may lead the individual to self-restraint, self-destruction. Moreover, mental and
spiritual poverty of the unit can cause the poverty of the entire social groups.

Zastosowanie fenomenologii „moralnego wzlotu” Maxa Schelera do analizy przywództwa

Zastosowanie fenomenologii „moralnego wzlotu” Maxa Schelera do analizy przywództwa
Bombała, Bronisław
Phenomenology of management seeks to grasp the essence of manager's work – its core is the analysis of leadership. Phenomenology
of leadership is an approach that makes the idea “to be someone – to do something” becomes the guiding principle of of management.
Max Scheler’s “moral flight” phenomenology is one of the most important inspiration in the analysis of leadership. His anthropology reveals
that being a man is in fact a continuing task that is impossible to take, and the result depends on the man himself. Scheler’s phenomenology
is a good way to discover the essence of leadership (eidos) in the process of culture change. This article presents a case study:
Ricardo Semler’s inner transformation, who might overcome the technocratic attitude and make the “moral flight”. The main inspiration for
him was a metaphor “builder of cathedrals”. As a result of his own inner transformation has become a “builder of cathedrals”,
such as a leader, who serves – it was a condition for conversion of others in the “cathedral builders”. As a result of the Semler's “moral
flight” their company was transformed in “cathedral builders” guild – community of work.

Cóż po pedagogice w ponowoczesności?
Śliwerski, Bogusław
This article depicts five approaches to pedagogy, which can be recognized in the course of history: 1) Pedagogy as a philosophy
(science of man, paideia, educational anthropology), 2) pedagogy as an independent discipline of humanities, 3) pedagogy as a subject of
academic and vocational studies, 4) pedagogy as a subjective theory of education and 5) pedagogy as a community intellectual formation. I
am still looking for answers to the question, which of these approaches raises criticism or points to the evolution of educational sciences and
schooling as a helpful reflection for practitioners and new directions in researches.

Polityka – etyka – Kościół. Wzajemność relacji w świetle tekstów Josepha Ratzingera – Benedykta XVI
Przesmycki SDB, Piotr
This article consisting of four points, shows the subject of multiple relationships between the realities of politics, ethics and the
Catholic Church. The issue was presented on the basis of the writings and speeches of Joseph Ratzinger, the current Pope Benedict XVI.
Article begins with a presentation of the relationship between politics and ethics as seen in historical perspective. The second section presents
the so-called „political ethics” of the first Christian communities in the light of the indications contained in some of the New Testament
writings (cf. 1 Thess; 1 Peter) being the basis for the Christian way of acting in the area of policy. The third section indicates some realities
like: progress, science and freedom – considered sometimes as an unquestioned idols and that`s why named once by Ratzinger „myth of
modernity” – as a threat to connectivity between politics and ethics. The fourth section discusses the teaching of the Catholic Church on
politics and the need for its ethical practice. In addition it contains some concrete proposals of Ratzinger that can be used in contemporary
debates on the fundamental values of a democratic state in contemporary pluralistic societies. It also refers to Pope Benedict XVI appeals for
more ethics of politics.
