<description>Orientacja sprawcza versus wspólnotowa a jakość relacji osób w związkach międzykulturowych
Woźniak, Natalia
The number of multicultural relationships is growing. This trend results from dynamic social changes, including i.a. migration, technological development, mobility, tourism, and new life models. Despite this, research still pays insufficient attention to them. &#13;
The aim of the research was to assess the quality of multicultural relationships. The project took into account the agentic and communal orientation of the relationship partners in the assessment of the respondents. The quality of a relationship was assessed in a multidimensional manner (considering mutual communication, intimacy, quarrel behaviours, and sexual satisfaction). The mediating role of loneliness and trust, between partners' orientation and the quality of their relationship was also examined.&#13;
Data obtained from 853 respondents aged 18-79 were analyzed (M=31.84; SD=11.82). The respondents included 418 Poles in multicultural relationships and 435 Poles in monocultural relationships. &#13;
The following methods were used: the Scale of Agency and Communion, the Scale of Unmitigated Agency and Unmitigated Communion, the R-UCLA Revised Loneliness Scale, the Diadic Trust Scale, the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire and the Partnership Relations Questionnaire (PFB).&#13;
It turned out that people in multicultural and monocultural relationships do not differ significantly in terms of agentic and communal orientation, and perceived coherence of the indicated orientations in the relationship. Higher levels of mutual communication, intimacy and quarrel behaviours were observed, as well as lower levels of sexual satisfaction in multicultural relationships compared to monocultural ones.&#13;
The research results showed that loneliness and trust act as mediators (and two serial mediators) of relationships between selected orientations and relationship quality variables.

<title>Uczestnictwo w wirtualnej rzeczywistości gier wideo a tożsamość osoby</title>

<description>Uczestnictwo w wirtualnej rzeczywistości gier wideo a tożsamość osoby
Klimczyk, Piotr
The doctoral dissertation focuses on the issue of constructing identity narratives by&#13;
video game users, immersed in a culturally created reality—encompassing the digital&#13;
environment, virtual avatars, and meanings shaped in player narratives. The theoretical&#13;
background for the research was the narrative paradigm in psychology, while the perspective&#13;
of anthropological psychology provided a basis for viewing the gaming world as a culturally&#13;
constructed reality. A review of research related to video games indicates that engagement in&#13;
this area has the potential to trigger personally significant, emotionally engaging experiences&#13;
that may be shared by other players.&#13;
The literature discusses the potential of video games to create a space for the&#13;
emergence of emotionally charged experiences perceived as personally meaningful and to&#13;
foster a unique gamer culture—sharing narratives and reflections surrounding the gaming&#13;
world. However, there has been no analysis of the significance these experiences may have&#13;
for shaping players’ identity narratives. To explore this issue in depth, a qualitative study was&#13;
planned using the method of reflexive thematic analysis.&#13;
Participants in the study were adult video game players aged 18 to 48. The analysis of&#13;
the collected material allowed for the identification of themes within the narratives, such as&#13;
the hero archetype as a form of internalized cultural script, the experience of immersion,&#13;
games as a form of therapy, skill training, eudaimonic experiences, nostalgia and excitement&#13;
during gameplay, escapism, life stories and the meaningful role of video games in them,&#13;
relationships with avatars, and the exploration of identity through gaming.&#13;
The findings appear to demonstrate how significant the experience of engaging with&#13;
video games can be for some individuals. The meanings assigned to this experience may&#13;
contribute to identity narratives related to personal development, values, gender identity, and&#13;
career, with numerous aspects of this process captured in sub-themes that reveal its breadth,&#13;
depth, and diversity.

<description>Rola emocjonalnego podłoża łez w procesie spostrzegania społecznego
Wągrowska, Julia
Three experimental studies (N = 340), preceded by two pilot studies (N = 130), tested the effects of emotional tears visible on faces on perceived communion (warmth and morality) and agency (assertiveness and competence). The studies also tested the boundary conditions of the analyzed effects, including the role of tear-evoking emotions (happiness, sadness, anger, fear) and the situational context in which they appear (private or public). Possible mediators of the effect of tears on judgments of agency and communion were also analyzed, including honesty, helplessness, emotionality, and appropriateness of the response. The results have consistently indicated that tears act as a "social glue" while also revealing that conceptual and qualitative differences within the sub-dimensions of communion and agency are reflected in the strength of the effect of tears on these sub-dimensions. It was also shown that the quality and social meaning of emotions – and probably also their intensity – interact with the social meaning of tears, often determining not only the strength but also the direction of the effect of tears on social perception. The current results thus support the idea that tears are only one of many elements of nonverbal expression, and the final interpretation of their social meaning depends on the overall perception of the person being evaluated.

<description>Autonarracje i skrypty. Zastosowanie arteterapii w kontekście rozwijania rodzicielskiej świadomości wychowania
Hucko, Olga
Praca opisuje doświadczenie rodzicielstwa, przeżycia związane z nową sytuacją życiową młodych w swej roli rodziców oraz narracje tożsamościowe tworzone w momencie wchodzenia w rolę rodzica. Badania jakościowe w perspektywie fenomenologiczno-hermeneutycznej, oparte na sztuce, a/r/tograficzne, przybliżają doświadczenia osobiste i kulturowe kształtujące u jednostek obraz współczesnego sposobu realizacji roli rodzica, przykłady tworzonych narracji tożsamościowych oraz ukazują proces rozwijania samoświadomości, jaki zachodzi w przypadku zaangażowanego rodzicielstwa (Bakiera, 2013). Badanie dotyczy grupy świadomych, refleksyjnych rodziców między 30 a 40 rokiem życia mieszkających w Łodzi, którzy są rodzicami pierwszego i jedynego dziecka nie starszego niż 3 lata.; Dissertation describes the experience of parenthood, with particular reference to identity narratives created when adults take on the role of parents. Qualitative research in a phenomenological-hermeneutic perspective, art-based, a/r/tographic, takes a closer look at the personal and cultural experiences that shape individuals' images of the contemporary implementation of the parental role. Within them examples of identity narratives are being created, they also demonstrate the process of developing self-awareness that occurs with involved parenting (Bakiera, 2013). The study concerns a group of aware, reflective parents between the ages of 30 and 40 living in Lodz who are parents of their first and only child no older than 3 years. I assume that developing self-awareness plays an important role for the awareness of parenting, determining the parenting approach.
