Lanscape Changes on the Polish Coastline Related to Tourism Development Gerstmannowa, Elżbieta The 15-year long period of socio-economic transformation in Poland has seen a dramatic development in coastal tourism. This paper, based on investigations conducted between 1989 and 2004, analyses tourism-related changes in Poland’s coastal regions. It discusses their main economic functions, the phases of tourism development and trends in landscape change.; Piętnastoletni okres transformacji spoleczno- -gospodarczej w Polsce to czas dynamicznego rozwoju nadmorskiej turystyki. Na podstawie badań z lat 1989-2004 dokonano krótkiej analizy zmian w turystycznym zagospodarowaniu wybrzeża. Określono m.in. główne funkcje gospodarcze wybrzeża, etapy rozwoju turystyki i kierunki zmian w krajobrazie polskiego wybrzeża.

Culinary tourism not only gives pleasure to its participants but may be an important factor in local development as well.; Turystyka kulinarna, która staje się coraz bardziej popularna, jest częścią szeroko rozumianej turystyki kulturowej. Osoby uprawiające tę formę turystyki poszukują nie tylko doznań smakowych, ale pragną poszerzyć swoją wiedzę, dokonać zakupów itp. Czynnikami decydującymi o atrakcyjności kulinarnej regionu lub miejscowości są odmienność i różnorodność danej kuchni oraz wierność tradycji. Turystyka kulinarna nie tylko daje satysfakcję osobom ją uprawiającym, ale może być ważnym czynnikiem rozwoju lokalnego.
