Wpływ przedrostków na łączliwość składniową czasowników ruchu Kudra, Barbara The aim of the present work was to investigate-by method of connotation- the syntactic connectibility of verbs of movement. The analysis was conducted on the contemporary material. Attention was paid to the kind:of elements syntactically dependent on the verb and functioning as its complements; with place adjunct being the most typical of them, the analysis was concentrated mainly on this kind of complement. In the case of prefixal derivatives objects were also taken into consideration because very often the presence of the prefix caused the verbs created with its use to change from intransitive into transitive, connoting at the same time the direct objects.
