Międzypokoleniowy dialog a wartości religijne w radiowych homiliach biskupa Józefa Zawitkowskiego
Streszczenie
The transfer of knowledge among generations means handing down skills, competence, norms and values between older and younger people as well as changes lasting during the whole human life: knowledge, experience and attitudes. It refers to both the older generation influencing the younger one and vice versa. A family is the most important place, where values, experience, wisdom, knowledge about the world and all the norms are transmitted down the generations. During one’s whole life one is under the influence of what members of one’s family think, believe in, value and which principles they follow. The man’s religious upbringing and an authentic testimony of faith in God protect you from risky behavior and harden you to indifference towards life. The above problems are the groundwork for consideration for religious values and the transfer of knowledge among different generations in sermons preached on Polish Radio 1 from 1981 to 2008 by the Bishop Józef Zawitkowski. The issues are analyzed and based on successes of contemporary scientists who specialize in religious language. The results are confirmed by quotations from the Bishop’s texts and commented on.
