The article reminds one of the most popular polish writers – Magdalena Samozwaniec (1894–1972). The content focuses on the review of all books by M. Samozwaniec (first and next editions). Basing on described topics, the author takes a reflection on the phenomenon of M. Samozwaniec’s popularity as a writer in Poland and tries to answer the question: why is her writing almost completely forgotten by publishers in the beginning of the 21st century?
