Abstract

Sixteenth anniversary of University of Łódź and launched at the same time the first Faculty of Library Science in Poland became an occasion to present its history and to collect publications presenting the past of this academic unit. Moreover, the bibliography of persons’ publications connected with The Faculty of Łódź was initiated. Methodical assumptions of the register, first of all rules of papers selection were presented.
