Streszczenie
The article deals with the student’s aversion to school readings, which constitutes a didactical
and educational problem in the contemporary school. The author considers the reasons of
this state of affairs, sets forward research hypotheses and as a conclusion suggests solutions to
this problem paying special attention to selected ways of encouraging students to read books.
